About

From Our Head of School

I am delighted to introduce you to de Toledo High School’s exceptional vision for the 21st century student.

Welcome

Welcome to a school that educates the whole student, by cultivating the habits of heart, mind, and spirit which students need to become excellent, ethical, and educated citizens of the world. Here, at de Toledo:

We train the intellect and value character.
The values of American democracy and Jewish tradition are united.
Academics, the arts, and athletics are each celebrated.
Both classroom and experiential learning are emphasized.
Past and future are explored; fusing the ideas of civilization that we inherit with the enormous power of contemporary advances.

At de Toledo, knowledge leads to intellectual depth and wisdom as we apply our knowledge to advance moral vision and ethical action. For us, wisdom is the combination of contemporary thought and the ideals of the Great American Experiment taught within the context of 3,000 years of Jewish history, culture, ideas, and religion.

Welcome to our vision. I thank you for your trust.
