Open House Highlights

Head of School Keynote

    • At our Fall 2024 Open House event, Head of School Mark Shpall introduced more than 500 guests to the concept of the ‘de Toledo Difference’… a snapshot of how we develop A+ Human Beings and A+ students in equal time and with equal focus. The de Toledo Difference is how our teachers and deans know every student by name, see them, hear them, care for them, and mentor them to maximize their innate potential. And the de Toledo Difference is how we help our students live their lives with love, meaning, happiness, kindness, and respect.

Student and Alumni Q & A

    • There are no better ambassadors of dTHS than our students themselves. Our students are the ones who, more than anyone else, embody what makes de Toledo such a tight-knit, warm, and loving community. At Open House, our students had the opportunity to interact with prospective families and share their insights on some of the most pressing questions of the day: Hebrew language requirements, bus service, the incredible passion our teachers bring to school each day, and much more!

Dance Team Performance

    • This year’s Open House featured a riveting performance by members of our school’s varsity Dance Team. Our award-winning dance teams regularly take home top honors at competitions such as NUVO, Radix, and Showstopper!

Shirei Yedidot and Jazz Band Performance

    • Open House also featured an emotional medley of songs by our ‘Shirei Yedidot’ ensemble, combining modern musical interpretations with timeless Jewish prayers. These performances are also a regular highlight of student gatherings and holiday celebrations on the dTHS campus.
