Fox News Reports on dTHS Science Progam!

Our local  Fox-11 affiliate has aired a feature detailing the impact de Toledo students are making in the African nation of Uganda.

Students from de Toledo High School in Los Angeles traveled to Uganda to help fight food insecurity. The students presented scientific research on the cultivation of spirulina, a nutrient-rich superfood that can help supplement local subsistence farming efforts and combat infant malnutrition. They met with the Abayudaya, one of sub-Saharan Africa’s largest Jewish communities.
